Bricata Wins 2015 InvestMaryland Challenge for Cybersecurity

Held by the Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development (DBED), the InvestMaryland Challenge is the state’s international business competition which recognizes the ingenuity and drive of the best and brightest entrepreneurs and young companies.

Bricata was chosen from a field of 214 entrants across four categories by a group of successful entrepreneurs, investors, educators and other judges in Maryland’s entrepreneurial community. As a winner in the Defense & Security category, Bricata will be awarded a $100,000 grant. Bricata was also honored with the Army Research Lab Incubator Opportunity, bwtech@UMBD Award and the Whiteford Taylor Preston Legal Services Award.
