Books-A-Million Unveils Winner of Star Wars Celebration Sweepstakes

The winner of Books-A-Million’s Star Wars Celebration sweepstakes receives tickets to the event, along with airfare and hotel accommodations for a trip to Anaheim, California, where they will join one of the largest Star Wars festivals ever

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Books-A-Million is giving one Star Wars fan the trip of a lifetime by sending them to Anaheim, California, where they will join the biggest Star Wars Celebration ever. Jim Galat of Illinois is the winner of the Books-A-Million Star Wars Celebration sweepstakes and will join other fans as they celebrate the Star Wars Saga leading up to the release of Episode VII: The Force Awakens. Galat and a guest won airfare, hotel accommodations, and tickets to all four days of the event, which takes place April 16-19 at the Anaheim Convention Center.

Galat and his wife will have the chance to meet some of the actors that helped make Star Wars the cultural phenomenon that it is today. Over 20 cast and crew of the Star Wars saga will be at Celebration. Meeting and getting the autograph of Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia), Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca) and Ian McDiarmid (Emperor Palpatine) among others will make this an unforgettable experience for the winner.

Along with meeting Star Wars legends, Galat and his wife will be able to take part in numerous events, including a Celebration Cosplay Contest, the Star Wars Rebels season two premiere and the debut of Episode III: Revenge of the Sith in 3D.
