Baxalta Cancels Presentation at 34th Annual J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference

BANNOCKBURN, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Baxalta (NYSE: BXLT) announced today that it will not present at the 34th Annual J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference, which was previously scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016, at 4:30 p.m. Central Time.

The decision not to participate follows an announcement earlier today that Baxalta has entered an agreement to combine with Shire plc (LSE: SHP, NASDAQ: SHPG).
