Balyasny Asset Management L.P.: Early Warning Report

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS -- (Marketwired) -- 04/10/15 -- BALYASNY ASSET MANAGEMENT L.P., for and on behalf of BAM Zie Master Fund, Ltd., Lyxor Balyasny / Atlas Enhanced Fund, Ltd., Atlas Enhanced Master Fund, Ltd. and Atlas Master Fund, Ltd. (the "Funds") announce, pursuant to National Instrument 62-103 - The Early Warning System and Related Take-Over Bid and Insider Reporting Issues ("NI 62-103") that the Funds acquired ownership of, respectively, 1,517,777, 82,681, 1,081,602 and 817,940 common shares of Trican Well Service Ltd ("TCW").

Following the acquisition, the Funds directly and indirectly own 18,297,250 common shares of TCW (representing 12.28% of the issued and outstanding common shares of TCW).

The securities were acquired through the facilities of the Toronto Stock Exchange at an average price of $3.692 per common share.

The securities of TCW are held by the Funds for investment purposes. The Funds expect to review from time to time their investment in TCW and may, depending on the market and other conditions: (i) acquire securities or related financial instruments of TCW in the open market, in privately negotiated transactions or otherwise, and/or (ii) dispose of all or a portion of the securities or related financial instruments of TCW over which they now or hereafter exercise, or may be deemed to exercise, control or direction, or own.
