Bakkt Holdings Acquires bitcoin.co.jp Domain

ALPHARETTA, Ga.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Bakkt Holdings, Inc. (“Bakkt” or the “Company”) (NYSE: BKKT) today announced that it has decided to forgo the rights to the domain www.bitcoin.jp and has instead finalized the acquisition of the Web domain www.bitcoin.co.jp.

The Company believes that this is the premier domain name suffix for Japan, more akin to the “.com” domain name elsewhere in the world.
