BMO Reopening Branches in Fort McMurray

CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/02/16 -- BMO Bank of Montreal will reopen its two branches in Fort McMurray today in accordance with the safe re-entry plan set forth by the Government of Alberta and the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. The branches had been closed since May 4 as a result of the wildfires in the community.

Earlier in May, BMO announced a relief program for BMO customers in the community, which includes:

--  Various options on deferral of personal loan payments and personal
    mortgage loan principal and interest payments
--  Special accommodations for BMO Bank of Montreal commercial customers
    affected by the fire, which are being developed on a case-by-case basis

BMO Bank of Montreal customers are invited to contact or visit the nearest local branch, or call the customer contact centre 1-877-225-5266 for further assistance.
