Alerion Aviation Appoints Daniel Ramirez as New Chief Executive Officer

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., Feb. 11, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Alerion Aviation, a leader in private aviation aircraft management and charter services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Daniel Ramirez as the company's new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). In this role, Daniel will oversee Alerion's team of over 100 professionals and a fleet of over 17 private jets, ensuring the continued delivery of unparalleled safety, service, and operational excellence to clients worldwide.

Daniel brings to Alerion a wealth of leadership experience and a distinguished career in aviation. Prior to joining Alerion, he served as the Chief Operating Officer for Vista Americas, a division of XOJET Holdings, where he managed GMJ/Intel Shuttle, a wholly owned Part 125 carrier. In this capacity, Daniel led a team of 92 employees and worked closely with the Board of Directors to ensure the smooth coordination of operations, safety, maintenance, and human resources for one of the industry's most complex corporate flight programs.

Before his tenure at Vista Americas, Daniel held the position of Director of Safety at XOJET, where he was responsible for overseeing the company's flight and non-flight safety programs, including the Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP), the Flight Operations Quality Assurance (FOQA) program, and the Line Operations Safety Audit (LOSA). He played a pivotal role in implementing XOJET's Safety Management System (SMS) and advancing the company's commitment to safety with industry-leading initiatives.

Daniel's career also includes notable positions with Embraer Executive Jets, where he served as Manager of Flight Safety Programs for North America and as Air Safety Officer for Embraer Holdings. He participated in numerous industry safety initiatives and investigations under ICAO's Annex 13 protocols, as well as various committees such as the NBAA Safety Committee and the Flight Safety Foundation's Business Aviation Safety Council.

A former U.S. Naval Flight Officer and Air Safety Officer, Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management from Lynn University, a Master of Aeronautical Science in System Safety and Aviation Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and a graduate degree from the University of Florida's Systems Engineering Program. He is also a commercially-rated pilot with type ratings for the Embraer 145 family, the Embraer Praetor family, and the E-175 aircraft.
