UPDATE: Cowen Starts Icosavax Inc. (ICVX) at Outperform

Cowen analyst Phil Nadeau initiates coverage on Icosavax Inc. (NASDAQ: ICVX) with a Outperform rating.

The analyst comments "ICVX is developing virus-like particle (VLP) vaccines against serious respiratory viruses. Lead candidate IVX-A12 is a vaccine against RSV and hMPV, two causes of pneumonia. A Ph. I of the RSV component will produce data in H1:22. ICVX also has a COVID vaccine in early clinical development. We expect ICVX to create shareholder value as its pipeline advances. We are initiating at Outperform."
