Stifel analyst Rick Wise initiates coverage on Medline Inc (NASDAQ: MDLN) with a Buy rating and a price target of $46.00.
The analyst comments: "Medline is the largest pureplay publicly-traded MedSurg product & distribution company. With a 58- year consistent annual growth track-record and a unique business model, roughly divided between med-surg distribution and MDLN-branded products, both businesses have driven and should continue driving HSD+ top-line growth. In 2025, we estimate Medline will generate $28.2B in sales (+9.5% Y/Y organic) along with 12.1% EBITDA margins. Looking ahead, we anticipate, potentially-conservatively, high-single-digit sales growth. Medline's growth and profitability engine is driven by a well-established, truly-compelling, and unique commercial model. The company leverages its impressively-scaled distribution and service advantage and steadily adds incremental customers, new prime vendor contracts (i.e. where MDLN serves as customers’ primary med-surg product distributor), and adjacent business lines. Then, over time, new customers are steadily-converted to Medline's own rapidly-expanding Medline Brand portfolio."
