Piper Sandler analyst Biren Amin initiates coverage on Perspective Therapeutics Inc (NYSE: CATX) with a Overweight rating and a price target of $16.00.
The analyst comments: "We are initiating coverage on Perspective Therapeutics (CATX) with an Overweight rating and $16 PT. The company's pipeline of lead-212 radiotherapies harnesses alpha radiation (superior potency vs. beta-emitters) with a differentiated safety profile enabled by a proprietary net-neutral chelator. The lead asset VMT-α-NET targets SSTR2, with early dose-escalation data in NETs comparing favorably to SOC Lutathera (39% ORR vs. Lutathera's 13%). Critically, VMT-α-NET has reported zero serious renal events or dysphagia to date (TRAEs that likely led to AlphaMedix's recent deprioritization), highlighting the value of CATX's radiopharma platform. We model VMT-α-NET with ~$950M in risk-adjusted revenues. Near-term catalysts include mid-'26 and late '26 updates. Initial VMT01 + nivolumab combination data are expected mid-2026, and initial PSV-359 dose- escalation data (in tumor basket study) are guided to late '26."
