H.C. Wainwright analyst Matthew Keller assumes coverage on Sensei Biotherapeutics (NASDAQ: SNSE) with a Buy rating and a price target of $5.00.
The analyst comments "An innovative approach to immune checkpoint inhibitor development. We are assuming coverage of Sensei Bio with a Buy rating, and a $5 PT. Sensei is developing conditionally active antibodies designed to selectively function the tumor microenvironments (TME). Leveraging both an experienced management team and a defined therapeutic approach, Sensei has the potential to deliver a novel immune checkpoint inhibitor antibody for solid tumors. The company’s lead asset is solnerstotug (formerly SNS-101), which is a conditionally active monoclonal antibody (mAb) targeting V-domain Ig suppressor of T-cell activation (VISTA). It is designed with selective targeting for active VISTApH6.0 in the TME over VISTApH7.4 in the periphery. Solnerstotug has exhibited promising clinical efficacy in initial data from a Phase 1/2 trial and could potentially be the first anti-VISTA mAb approved as a therapeutic agent."
