H.C. Wainwright Assumes Collegium Pharmaceutical (COLL) at Buy

H.C. Wainwright analyst Brandon Folkes assumes coverage on Collegium Pharmaceutical (NASDAQ: COLL) with a Buy rating and a price target of $44.00.

The analyst comments "We are assuming coverage of COLL with a Buy rating and $44 price target driven by the underappreciated growth potential of Jornay PM as well as an underappreciation of the durability of the cash generation from its mature pain franchise. Jornay, acquired through the Ironshore Therapeutics transaction, has rapidly emerged as the company’s lead growth driver, with prescriptions growing 42% year-over-year in 2Q25, and 15% sequentially over 1Q25. COLL raised its 2025 Jornay revenue guidance to $140M to $145M (from at least $135M). With expanded field force coverage, increasing market share, and exclusivity through at least 2032, Jornay remains early in its commercial trajectory and is well-positioned to contribute significantly to COLL's long term growth, and pivot away from a solely pain based company. The product’s differentiated evening dosing and targeted awareness campaigns further support its potential to capture additional share in the branded ADHD market, with a long runway for continued adoption. In a testament to COLL's current strong financial position the company announced a new $150M share buy back authorization with its 2Q25 earnings."
