Goldman Sachs analyst James Schneider initiates coverage on SiTime Corp. (NASDAQ: SITM) with a Buy rating and a price target of $420.00.
The analyst comments "We initiate coverage of SITM with a Buy rating and a 12-month price target of $420. We view SiTime as the leading provider of silicon-based precision timing solutions, and the only pure-play MEMS timing company at scale positioned to benefit from a long-term industry shift from quartz to silicon timing. We see growth powered by three main catalysts: (1) a secular shift from quartz to silicon based timing; (2) a growing opportunity at Apple (SiTime's largest customer); (3) tailwinds from AI datacenter buildouts, where its products are becoming increasingly more important. Taken together, we view SiTime as a unique blend of technology leadership, diversified end market exposure, and long-duration growth visibility. We believe the Street (Visible Alpha Consensus) doesn't yet properly reflect the rate at which revenue and EPS can grow (i.e. >40%/>60%, respectively) throughout our forecast period; we are on average ~20% above the Street on non-GAAP EPS (excl. SBC) estimates in 2026/27."
