Goldman Sachs analyst Paul Choi reinstates coverage on Esperion Therapeutics (NASDAQ: ESPR) with a Neutral rating and a price target of $4.00.
The analyst comments "Post label expansion, Nexletol/Nexlizet uptake has started to pick up but KOL feedback remains mixed; a lack of a mid/late stage pipeline an overhang with end of decade LOE looming. Investor focus has likely returned to ESPR's commercial prospects and fundamentals, which we view overall as balanced at the current share price. On the forward, we believe much of the focus for ESPR will remain on its efforts to accelerate adoption of bempedoic acid, particularly in the primary prevention market, as well as its ability to replenish its pipeline. We reinstate coverage with a Neutral rating and price target of $4 per share."
