Lennox (NYSE: LII) has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Heat Controller, an HVAC equipment supplier that serves distributors across North America through its Comfort-Aire and Century brands, according to a company press release.
The deal is expected to close later in 2026, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals. No financial terms were disclosed.
Heat Controller supplies heating and cooling equipment to small and mid-size HVAC distributors. Its Comfort-Aire and Century brands are sold through distribution channels across North America.
Alok Maskara, Chief Executive Officer of Lennox, said the acquisition "strengthens how we serve our distributor partners with flexibility and exceptional customer service."
Philip Windham, Chief Executive Officer of Heat Controller, said the company is "excited to join Lennox," citing Lennox's scale and operational capabilities as factors that would support expansion of Heat Controller's offering.
Lennox is based in Dallas, Texas, and provides heating, cooling, and indoor air quality products to residential and commercial customers.
