Wallbox names new business and operations chiefs

Wallbox (NYSE: WBX) appointed two executives to leadership positions as the electric vehicle charging company strengthens its management team, according to a company statement.
Ignasi Alastuey joined as Chief Business Officer after a 14-year career at Mettler-Toledo, where he most recently served as General Manager of the international sales division. At Mettler-Toledo, he oversaw indirect channel business across Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, and Africa, and previously led commercial operations in Brazil and managed the Service division in Italy.
Luis Pereda was named Chief Operations Officer, bringing more than 20 years of experience in industrial operations. He most recently served as Industrial Director at GCR Group, managing three production plants in the recycling and plastics sector. He previously led Ecolab's production plant as a member of its Executive Committee in Spain and held senior positions at Bacardi and Schneider Electric.
"With strong international leadership and transformation backgrounds, Ignasi and Luis bring the ideal combination of strategic vision and operational excellence to drive Wallbox into its next phase of growth," said Enric Asunción, CEO and Co-founder of Wallbox.
The Barcelona-based company develops electric vehicle charging and energy management systems for residential, semi-public, and public use in more than 100 countries. Founded in 2015, Wallbox operates offices across Europe, Asia, and America.
