Tharimmune appoints Jacob Asbury as chief financial officer

Tharimmune Inc. (NASDAQ: THAR) appointed Jacob Asbury as chief financial officer, effective immediately. Asbury will oversee financial strategy, operations, capital planning, treasury management, and financial reporting.

Asbury previously served as CFO of Clear Street Group Inc. and later led an independent advisory practice focused on financial systems implementation and process automation. He also held CFO positions at Performance Flight & Custom Jet Charters and Instinet Incorporated. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Vermont.

"Jacob's deep financial leadership experience and a track record of delivering innovative approaches to financial operations, which is critical to our ability to create value for shareholders through our digital asset treasury strategy," said Mark Wendland, CEO of Tharimmune.

Tharimmune established its digital asset treasury strategy in November 2025, which includes acquiring Canton Coin, applying to operate as a Super Validator, and investing in applications built on the Canton Network. The company describes itself as the first publicly traded company to leverage Canton Coin to support the Canton Network's digitization of traditional financial markets.

The company also operates clinical-stage biotech research and development operations alongside its digital asset activities.
