Sukh Grewal named new CFO at Janus Henderson, succeeding Roger Thompson

Janus Henderson Group plc (NYSE: JHG) announced that Sukh Grewal will become Chief Financial Officer effective April 1, 2026, while retaining his current role as Head of Strategy & Corporate Development.
Grewal will succeed Roger Thompson, who will retire as CFO on March 31, 2026, after more than 12 years with the company and 35 years in financial services. Thompson joined Janus Henderson in 2013 and serves on its Executive Committee.
Since joining Janus Henderson in 2022, Grewal has led the firm's strategic roadmap implementation and corporate partnerships, including acquisitions of Tabula, NBK Capital Partners, and Victory Park Capital, along with partnerships with Privacore Capital and Guardian.
Before Janus Henderson, Grewal served as Director of Strategy and Corporate Development at AllianceBernstein and held positions at Apollo Global Management and Guggenheim Partners. He holds a Bachelor of Science in finance and management from NYU Stern School of Business.

Grewal will also join the firm's Executive Committee. The company stated that Thompson and Grewal will work together over the coming months to ensure a smooth transition.
As of June 30, 2025, Janus Henderson managed approximately $457 billion in assets under management with more than 2,000 employees and offices in 25 cities worldwide. The London-headquartered company is listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
