Republic Bank promotes two executives to C-suite positions

Republic Bancorp's (NASDAQ: RBCAA) Republic Bank & Trust Company promoted two internal executives to senior leadership roles, according to a company announcement.
Christy Ames was named Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer & General Counsel, while Scott Nardi became Senior Vice President, Chief Risk & Compliance Officer.
Ames has over 25 years of experience in banking and finance and has served as Republic's General Counsel since 2018. She leads the Legal Department, handles corporate issues, SEC reporting, and supports the Board of Directors' Nominating and Compensation Committees. Ames also oversees the Audit Department and serves as Corporate Secretary for Republic Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: RBCAA) and Republic Bank & Trust Company.
Nardi has been the Bank's Chief Compliance Officer since 2018 and brings more than 20 years of financial services experience. In his new role, he will lead Republic's Compliance, Risk, BSA, Fraud, and Security Departments. Before joining Republic Bank, Nardi worked as an attorney at Skadden and Goodwin law firms, representing financial institutions in state and federal courts and regulatory investigations. He previously held positions at SunTrust Bank's legal department and served as Chief Compliance Officer at EverBank.

Republic Bancorp operates 47 banking centers across five states and had approximately $7.0 billion in total assets as of June 30, 2025, according to the press release.
