RLI names Aaron Diefenthaler as CFO to replace retiring Todd Bryant

RLI Corp. (NYSE: RLI) announced that Chief Financial Officer Todd Bryant will retire from his position on December 31, 2025, after more than 30 years with the specialty insurance company.
Aaron Diefenthaler, currently Chief Investment Officer and Treasurer, will succeed Bryant as CFO effective January 1, 2026. Bryant will remain in an advisory role through mid-2026 to support the transition.
Bryant joined RLI in 1993 and has served as CFO since 2019. He previously held leadership roles in accounting and finance, including Vice President, Finance and Controller.
Diefenthaler joined RLI in 2012 as Vice President and Chief Investment Officer and was named Treasurer in 2014. Before joining RLI, he held leadership positions at Asset Allocation and Management LLC, SS&C Technologies and Northern Trust. He holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Indiana University, an MBA from DePaul University, and the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Kliethermes said Diefenthaler "has demonstrated exceptional leadership and a deep understanding of our business, values and culture" and "has been instrumental in guiding our investment and business development strategies."
