ProPetro names Caleb Weatherl as chief financial officer

ProPetro Holding Corp. (NYSE: PUMP) announced the appointment of Caleb Weatherl as Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately, according to a company press release.



Weatherl most recently served as Chief Executive Officer and Board Member at Garrison Energy, where he secured equity commitments for upstream oil and gas opportunities. He previously held senior positions including President and Chief Financial Officer at Stronghold Energy II, managing operations during the COVID-19 pandemic before the company's sale in 2022.



Earlier in his career, Weatherl served as Chief Financial Officer at Desert Royalty Company and co-founded Stronghold Energy Partners, focusing on strategic acquisitions. He also worked at Weatherl Energy Investments, Bain Capital, and McKinsey & Company. Weatherl holds an A.B. in Economics from Harvard College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar.



"Caleb's extensive background in the energy sector and his proven ability to drive financial performance and execute a strategy make him an excellent addition to our Company," said Sam Sledge, Chief Executive Officer of ProPetro.

ProPetro is a Midland, Texas-based provider of completion and power services to upstream oil and gas companies engaged in North American unconventional oil and natural gas exploration and production.
