Primo Brands names Eric Foss as chairman and CEO

Primo Brands Corporation (NYSE: PRMB) announced the appointment of Eric Foss as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Foss succeeds Robbert Rietbroek as CEO of the Tampa, Florida and Stamford, Connecticut-based beverage company.

The company stated that Foss previously served on Primo Brands' board and the board of Primo Water. Dean Metropoulos, who served as Non-Executive Chairman, will step down from that role but remain on the board as a director.

"I am delighted to announce Eric has agreed to take up the positions of Chairman and CEO of Primo Brands," Metropoulos said in a statement. "With his extensive experience as Chairman and CEO of global branded beverage and direct store distribution businesses, Eric is highly qualified to lead Primo Brands' future growth and value creation."

Foss commented on his appointment: "It is a true privilege to serve as Chairman and CEO of Primo Brands. The Company is well positioned in the large, attractive, and growing healthy hydration market." He thanked Rietbroek for his service and acknowledged the board's support.

Primo Brands operates as a North American branded beverage company focused on healthy hydration products. The company's portfolio includes brands such as Poland Spring, Pure Life, Saratoga, and The Mountain Valley. It distributes products across retail outlets, direct delivery to homes and businesses, and through exchange and refill services.

The company operates a network that serves more than 200,000 retail outlets and employs over 12,000 associates. Primo Brands was formed through a business combination that the press release refers to as occurring last year.
