Power Solutions International, Inc. (NASDAQ: PSIX) appointed Zhaoying (Dorothy) Du as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, effective September 8, 2025. The company's Board of Directors made the appointment on September 15, 2025.
Du brings 20 years of legal experience with U.S. and multinational companies. Most recently, from March 2025 to September 2025, she led Lenovo's global supply chain legal team, handling procurement, trade compliance, regulatory risks, and contract negotiations.
From 2016 to March 2025, Du served as Director and Global Head of Legal at Motorola Mobility, a Lenovo company, overseeing artificial intelligence, research and development, intellectual property, compliance, data privacy, corporate governance, and litigation matters.
Prior to Motorola Mobility, Du was General Counsel for China operations and Senior Counsel for compliance and risk management at The Warranty Group from 2013 to 2016. From 2005 to 2012, she served as Co-Chair of the APAC Practice Group at Freeborn & Peters and as an attorney at Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal, focusing on cross-border transactions, securities, mergers and acquisitions, financing, and compliance matters.
Du holds a JD from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, an MA from the University of Georgia, and a Bachelor of Law degree from Sun Yat-Sen University Law School. She is admitted to practice law in multiple U.S. jurisdictions and China.
Power Solutions International designs, engineers and manufactures emission-certified engines and power systems for energy, industrial and transportation markets. The company provides integrated solutions to original equipment manufacturers and end-user customers worldwide.
