Potomac Bank promotes Lance Nobles to executive VP of commercial lending

Potomac Bank (OTCID: PTBS) announced the promotion of Lance Nobles to Executive Vice President, Director of Commercial Real Estate Lending. Nobles will also lead the bank's commercial banker development program from the company's office in Ashburn, Virginia.



Nobles joined Potomac Bank in 2019 and holds the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation, which he received in 2014. He will oversee the commercial real estate lending team from the bank's location at 44790 Maynard Square, Suite 200, Ashburn, VA.



"Since joining the Bank in 2019, Lance has demonstrated exceptional dedication, leadership, and commitment to our mission, particularly in advancing our Commercial Real Estate presence and driving growth in Loudoun County and surrounding markets," said Raymond Goodrich, Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer.



Nobles is a graduate of Louisiana State University's Graduate School of Banking and holds an Executive MBA and undergraduate degree in Marketing from LSU. He participates in community organizations and civic events in the local area.



Potomac Bank operates through nine branches and one loan production office serving the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, Washington County, Maryland, and Northern Virginia. The bank reported total assets of $944 million as of December 31, 2026. Founded in 1871 as Bank of Charles Town, the company was renamed Potomac Bank on November 3, 2025.



The bank offers consumer and commercial banking services, trust and wealth management, investment services, and residential lending. Potomac Bank serves as a Small Business Administration Preferred Lender and has received recognition as one of American Banker's "Top 200 Community Banks."
