Ondas names General Patrick Huston as chief operating officer

Ondas Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: ONDS) announced that Brigadier General Patrick Huston, U.S. Army (Ret.), has been appointed to the newly-created role of Chief Operating Officer while continuing to serve as General Counsel.

General Huston joined the company's Ondas Autonomous Systems advisory board in September 2025. In his expanded role, he will oversee operational execution across the company's autonomous systems platform, drive program execution, integrate acquisitions, and scale operations across Ondas' portfolio of subsidiaries.

The appointment comes as Ondas operates through business units including Ondas Autonomous Systems, Ondas Capital, and Ondas Networks, providing autonomous systems and private wireless solutions to defense, security, and government markets.

General Huston brings over 35 years of military and legal experience, including service as a Commanding General, Army Ranger, helicopter pilot, and military prosecutor with five combat tours. His career included senior roles with the 101st Airborne Division, Joint Special Operations Command, and U.S. Central Command, as well as service on the Pentagon's Responsible Artificial Intelligence Board.

In his dual role, General Huston will support the company's execution across acquisitions, partnerships, government contracting, and compliance frameworks while ensuring alignment with U.S. and allied defense requirements.

The company stated that the COO position follows a period of expansion for Ondas Autonomous Systems, including strategic acquisitions, investments, and new program activity supporting autonomy across multiple domains.
