ONGold appoints new CFO following executive departure
ONGold Resources Ltd. (TSXV: ONAU) (OTCQB: ONGRF) announced a change in its financial leadership, with Gregory Duras no longer serving as Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary effective May 7, 2026.
The Toronto-based mining company appointed Soo-Whan Kim as the new Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary effective May 8, 2026. Kim previously held the position of Corporate Controller at ONGold.
Kim is a Chartered Professional Accountant with experience in senior finance roles including Controller and Corporate Controller positions. He has also served as chief financial officer of other public companies, according to the company statement.
ONGold owns exploration assets in Northern Ontario and Northern Manitoba, including the Monument Bay Gold-Tungsten Project, TPK Gold Project, Domain Gold Project and October Gold Project.
The company stated that Kim will continue to lead financial reporting and accounting functions in his new role. The information was disclosed in a press release issued by the company.
