Leafly appoints Peter Lee as chief executive officer
Leafly Holdings, Inc. appointed Peter Lee as chief executive officer, the cannabis marketplace company announced. Lee will retain his position on Leafly's board of directors.
Lee has served as Leafly's president and chief operating officer since 2024. He previously held the role of president, chief financial officer and board member at Merida Merger Corporation until its merger with Leafly in 2022 as part of Leafly's public offering transaction. Lee has remained on Leafly's board since the merger.
From 2011 to 2018, Lee co-founded and served as managing partner at Sentinel Rock Capital, LLC, a long/short equity hedge fund. He also held positions at other equity-focused hedge funds including Spring Point Capital, Blackstone Kailix, and Tiger Management.
The company also announced that Yoko Miyashita resigned as CEO and director effective November 21. Leafly thanked Miyashita for her service and contributions.
Seattle-based Leafly operates an online cannabis discovery marketplace and serves as a resource for cannabis consumers. The information was provided in a company press release.
