LAS VEGAS SANDS names Patrick Dumont as chairman and CEO

Las Vegas Sands Corp. (NYSE: LVS) announced that Patrick Dumont will become chairman and chief executive officer effective March 1, 2026. Dumont will succeed Robert G. Goldstein, who will serve as a senior advisor through March 2028.



The company's board of directors had previously indicated Dumont would likely succeed Goldstein. Dumont was also appointed chairman of Sands China Ltd., the company's Hong Kong-listed subsidiary.



Dumont has served as president and chief operating officer since January 2021 and has been a board member since 2017. He joined Las Vegas Sands in 2010 and has more than 25 years of experience in management, development, operations and corporate finance.



Under Dumont's leadership, the company has undertaken investment programs in Macao and Singapore. He is responsible for the company's new development in Singapore, an $8 billion project that began construction in July 2025.



"It is a true honor for me to serve as chairman and CEO of this iconic company founded by one of the industry's greatest visionaries," Dumont said in a statement. "I am excited about our company's future and look forward to getting started in this new role."



Dumont holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Johns Hopkins University. He resides in Las Vegas with his wife and children.



Las Vegas Sands operates integrated resorts including Marina Bay Sands in Singapore and multiple properties in Macao through its majority ownership in Sands China Ltd.
