IceCure Medical CFO Ronen Tsimerman to leave after nine years

February 9, 2026 4:30 PM EST

IceCure Medical Ltd. (NASDAQ: ICCM) announced that Chief Financial Officer Ronen Tsimerman will depart the company after nearly nine years of service to pursue new opportunities.

Tsimerman will remain in his position until a successor is appointed to ensure a smooth transition. The company has initiated a search for a new CFO and identified candidates with experience in commercializing disruptive technologies. Some candidates have advanced to interviews with IceCure's Board of Directors.

During Tsimerman's tenure, IceCure achieved several milestones including its Nasdaq listing, fundraising to support completion of the ICE3 study, and receiving U.S. Food and Drug Administration marketing clearance for its ProSense system for low-risk breast cancer treatment in late 2025.

"Ronen has been a valued contributor over the years, and his skilled financial and operational leadership allowed IceCure Medical to achieve several key milestones," stated CEO Eyal Shamir.

Tsimerman said he was "extremely proud of the great work we've accomplished at IceCure" and called the company's mission to bring minimally invasive treatment for low-risk breast cancer "truly an amazing accomplishment."

IceCure Medical develops cryoablation technology that destroys tumors by freezing as an alternative to surgical removal. The company's ProSense system is the first medical device to receive FDA marketing authorization for local treatment of low-risk breast cancer with adjuvant endocrine therapy for women aged 70 and above.
