HII names Fatina Brave VP of infrastructure at Ingalls Shipbuilding

HII (NYSE: HII) appointed Fatina Brave as vice president of infrastructure and sustainability at its Ingalls Shipbuilding division, the company announced January 29.

Brave succeeds Eric Crooker, who moved to vice president of program management at Ingalls. Crooker replaced George Nungesser, who is retiring in early February after 37 years with the company.

In her new role, Brave will oversee environmental, health, safety, security, facilities and maintenance operations at Ingalls. She will report to Ingalls Shipbuilding President Brian Blanchette.

Brave joined HII in 2011 and most recently served as director of talent acquisition and workforce development. She previously held roles of increasing responsibility in human resources and administration.

"Fatina brings a unique combination of experiences to this role, from her distinguished service in the U.S. Air Force to her 15 years of leadership in human resources at Ingalls," Blanchette said in the company's statement.

Brave is a U.S. Air Force veteran and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial psychology from William Carey University.
