Goosehead Insurance names Eben Hewitt as chief technology officer

Goosehead Insurance Inc. (NASDAQ: GSHD) announced the appointment of Eben Hewitt as chief technology officer, according to a company press release.
Hewitt joins the Westlake, Texas-based insurance agency from Hyatt Corporation, where he served as global chief information officer. In that role, he oversaw engineering, data and artificial intelligence, infrastructure, cybersecurity, technology operations, and enterprise applications. He previously held senior technology positions at Sabre Hospitality Solutions, Choice Hotels, and O'Reilly Media.
As CTO, Hewitt will lead Goosehead's technology strategy, including expansion of AI-powered capabilities, data and analytics platforms, and continued development of Digital Agent 2.0.

Hewitt said he was excited to join Goosehead and advance the company's technology vision. "I look forward to helping advance the company's AI and technology strategy to empower agents, enhance client experiences, and support accelerated growth," he stated.
Goosehead operates as an independent personal lines insurance agency that distributes products through corporate and franchise locations across the United States. The company represents over 200 insurance companies that underwrite personal and commercial lines.
