Expedia Group names Rob Bevegni as VP of investor relations

Expedia Group (NASDAQ: EXPE) appointed Rob Bevegni as Vice President of Investor Relations, according to a company statement. Bevegni will join the company's Global Finance Leadership Team and lead investor relations strategy while reporting to Chief Financial Officer Scott Schenkel.

The new hire will be based in Expedia Group's Bay Area office and will oversee how the company communicates financial information to the investment community.

"We're thrilled to welcome Rob to Expedia Group. He brings a valuable investor perspective and a deep understanding of the financial markets that will strengthen how we engage with shareholders and analysts," said Schenkel.

Bevegni brings nearly two decades of finance experience, including equity portfolio management and investment research roles. He most recently served as Portfolio Manager at TamRidge Capital, where he led a team focused on internet, payments, and software investments. His previous positions included senior roles at Balyasny Asset Management, Aptigon Capital, and Millennium LLC.

"I am honored to join Expedia Group," said Bevegni. "After many years covering the sector, I am excited to now be on the other side of the business."

The appointment comes as Expedia Group operates multiple travel brands including Expedia, Hotels.com, and Vrbo, along with business-to-business technology solutions and advertising services for travel industry partners.
