Atlassian names James Chuong as CFO effective March 2026

Atlassian Corporation (NASDAQ: TEAM) appointed James Chuong as Chief Financial Officer, effective March 30, 2026, according to a company statement.

Chuong will oversee Atlassian's Finance and Legal teams. He brings more than 20 years of finance leadership experience across technology and investment banking sectors.

Most recently, Chuong served as Chief Financial Officer at LinkedIn, where he led financial operations during the company's growth to more than 1 billion members and $18 billion in revenue. During his 13-year tenure at LinkedIn, he held several finance leadership roles, managing global teams responsible for financial planning and analysis, business operations, international finance, and financial systems.

Prior to LinkedIn, Chuong worked in investment banking at J.P. Morgan, Citigroup, and Bank of America Securities.

Chuong is based in San Francisco and holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of San Diego.

The team collaboration and productivity software provider serves over 350,000 customers worldwide, including more than 80% of Fortune 500 companies.
