Associated Bank appoints Jason Hansen as Nebraska and Western Iowa president

Associated Banc-Corp (NYSE: ASB) named Jason Hansen as Nebraska and Western Iowa market president and business segment leader for Commercial Banking, effective immediately. Hansen previously served as president of American National Bank, which Associated Bank acquired in a deal that closed April 1, 2026.



Hansen will report to Phil Trier, executive vice president and head of Corporate & Commercial Banking. His career at American National Bank began in 2000 as a teller before advancing to commercial and management roles.



"Jason being appointed Nebraska and Western Iowa market president marks an exciting next step following our recent acquisition because he not only understands the market, but has helped shape it," Trier said in a statement.



Hansen graduated from the University of Nebraska-Omaha with a bachelor's degree in business administration, finance and banking. He also completed the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Colorado Boulder. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for United Way of the Midlands and has previously chaired boards for the Urban League of Nebraska and the Visiting Nurses Association/Easterseals.



Associated Banc-Corp has approximately $50 billion in total assets and operates more than 200 banking locations across Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri and Nebraska. The company is headquartered in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
