Allison Worldwide appoints Jamie Dowd as global health president

Allison Worldwide announced the appointment of Jamie Dowd as Global President, Health + Wellness, effective June 22. Dowd will report to Global CEO Wendy Lund and lead the agency's global healthcare practice while overseeing the New York office.
Dowd joins from Weber Shandwick, where she served as President of the Health practice in the Americas and led the New York office. During her 25-year career, she has worked on pharmaceutical launches across oncology, cardiovascular, neuroscience, pain, immunology, and rare diseases, launching more than 100 new or supplemental indications.
"As we look toward 2030, healthcare leaders face increasing pressure to communicate with greater frequency and clarity, engage informed and overwhelmed consumers and embrace a rapidly evolving AI-driven communications landscape," said Wendy Lund, Global CEO of Allison Worldwide.
Dowd was recognized as the 2024 PRWeek Outstanding Healthcare Agency Professional and a 2025 MM&M Woman of Distinction. She has appeared on the PRWeek Health Influencer 30 list multiple years and serves as an advisor to the Georgetown University Global Health Institute.
