AerSale appoints Paul Hechenberger as general counsel

AerSale (NASDAQ: ASLE) announced the appointment of Paul Hechenberger as Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary, according to a company press release.



Hechenberger brings over 40 years of legal and aerospace experience to the aviation products and services provider. His background includes expertise in commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and compliance.



Before joining AerSale, Hechenberger served as a Partner at Miami-based law firm Shutts & Bowen. His previous roles include General Counsel at iAero Group, Deputy General Counsel at Spirit AeroSystems, General Counsel at BBA Aviation's Aftermarket Services division, Chief M&A Counsel at BBA Aviation, and Corporate Counsel at Tyco Fire & Security.



Hechenberger is a U.S. Navy veteran who served as an EA-6B Naval Flight Officer and retired with the rank of Captain after 30 years of combined active and reserve service. He holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Florida, an MBA from the University of West Florida, and a BSBA from Villanova University. He is licensed to practice law in Florida.

AerSale provides aftermarket services and products for airlines operating Boeing and Airbus aircraft, including aircraft and component maintenance, repair, and overhaul services, aircraft and engine sales and leasing, and used serviceable material sales.
