AITX subsidiary names former Knightscope co-founder as sales chief
Artificial Intelligence Technology Solutions Inc. (OTCID: AITX) announced that its subsidiary Robotic Assistance Devices Mobile Inc. has appointed Stacy Stephens as Senior Vice President of Sales, effective immediately.
Stephens previously co-founded Knightscope Inc. (NASDAQ: KSCP), a security robotics company. In his new role, he will lead sales initiatives for RAD-M's mobile robotic solutions, including ROAMEO, RADDOG, and the forthcoming humanoid robot HERO.
"The mobile solutions offered through RAD-M represent a reliable, clear path forward for organizations seeking smarter and safer ways to protect people and property while delivering meaningful cost savings," Stephens said in a statement.
The company expects initial deployments of ROAMEO Gen 4 to begin in September. ROAMEO is described as a mobile security patrol vehicle designed to perform autonomous patrols.
Steve Reinharz, CEO and founder of AITX, said Stephens' experience and reputation in the security industry will be valuable as the company accelerates deployment of its mobile robotics portfolio.
AITX operates through its primary subsidiary Robotic Assistance Devices Inc., which provides AI-driven security solutions. The company states its solutions are designed to provide cost savings of 35% to 80% compared to traditional manned security services.
According to the press release, RAD has a prospective sales pipeline including over 35 Fortune 500 companies. The company has completed a SOC 2 Type 2 audit for data protection and security compliance.
