Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) stock is down about 1 percent Monday following Steve Ballmer's keynote address at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
Other news on Microsoft Monday: the company disclosed a lawsuit against Motorola Mobility (NYSE: MMI) in London, though specific details of the allegations weren't made. The filing was made on December 23rd with the London High Court.
Microsoft's filing comes just days after it won a ruling in the U.S. with the International Trade Commission which demonstrated Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) Android violated several patents. Additionally, just two weeks ago, Microsoft received a similar ruling against Motorola Mobility in Germany.
Motorola, which agreed to be acquired by Google for $12.5 billion back in August, is reeling this afternoon following weaker-than-expected fourth-quarter numbers issued late Friday.
