Aptera Motors Corp. (NASDAQ: SEV) announced it has resolved litigation filed by Zaptera USA, Inc. in 2024. Zaptera dismissed all claims with prejudice and without right of appeal, with each party bearing its own costs and attorney fees.
The settlement allows the solar mobility company to move forward without the legal distraction as it continues developing its solar electric vehicle. Chris Anthony, Co-CEO of Aptera, stated that resolving the matter provides clarity and focus for the company's mission to deliver solar mobility.
Aptera Motors develops solar electric vehicles and is headquartered in Carlsbad, California. The company trades on NASDAQ under the ticker SEV.
The press release did not disclose details about the nature of the original litigation or terms of the settlement beyond the dismissal of claims and cost arrangements.
