Raytheon (RTX) secures $67.5 million contract for Evolved Seasparrow missiles

Investing.com -- Raytheon Co. (NYSE: RTX) has been awarded a $67.55 million contract modification for Evolved Seasparrow Missile Block 2 guided missile assemblies, according to a recent announcement.
The firm-fixed-price modification builds upon a previously awarded contract N00024-24-C-5408. The work will be distributed across multiple international locations, with the largest portions being performed in Tucson, Arizona (12%), Edinburgh, Australia (11%), and Mississauga, Canada (10%).
Other significant work locations include San Jose, California (9%), Raufoss, Norway (9%), Hengelo OV, Netherlands (5%), and Ottobrunn, Germany (5%).
The project is expected to be completed by September 2030. Fiscal 2025 funds from other customers totaling the full $67.55 million will be obligated at the time of award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
The Naval Sea Systems Command in Washington, D.C. is serving as the contracting activity. The contract was not competitively procured, in accordance with 10 U.S. Code 3204(a)(4).
