Investing.com -- Pratt & Whitney expects the current imbalance between jet engine demand and supply to stabilize by the end of the decade, according to the company's president of commercial engines.
Speaking at a Wings Club gathering in New York on Thursday, Rick Deurloo said the RTX enginemaker is working to increase production and expand capacity for aftermarket repairs in 2026 amid soaring prices and high demand for engines.
While Deurloo noted that the supply chain situation is showing signs of improvement, he acknowledged it remains a significant challenge for the industry.
