Northrop Grumman secures $84.2 million in defense contracts

Investing.com -- Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) has been awarded multiple defense contracts totaling approximately $84.2 million for various military equipment and services.
Northrop Grumman Systems Corp. of Minneapolis, Minnesota received a $32.6 million firm-fixed-price contract for 30MM chain driven MK44 MOD4 guns, along with supporting hardware, special tools, and spare parts. The work will be performed in Mesa, Arizona, with completion expected by August 2027. The contract was awarded without competition as the property was available from only one responsible source. Funding comes primarily from fiscal 2025 Marine Corps procurement funds.
In a separate award, Northrop Grumman Marine Systems of Sunnyvale, California secured an $8.6 million firm-fixed-price contract to provide materials for Ship's Service Turbine Generators for two Virginia-class submarines. This work will be completed in December 2027 at the company's Sunnyvale facility.
The company's Missile Way Roy, Utah division received a $24.1 million modification to an existing contract for ICBM operational software sustainment and contractor logistics support. This modification enables timely software upgrades for the Minuteman III System and increases the total contract value to $507.8 million. Work will be conducted across multiple locations including West Layton, Utah; Colorado Springs, Colorado; Bellevue, Nebraska; Redondo Beach, California; and Roy, Utah, with completion expected by August 31, 2028.
Additionally, Northrop Grumman Systems Corp. in Minneapolis was awarded an $18.9 million firm-fixed-price contract to produce M136 Vehicle Launched Anti-Tank Scatterable ammunition canisters. This work will be performed across multiple locations in Minnesota, Texas, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Louisiana, Florida, Wisconsin, Tennessee, California, Kentucky, Connecticut, Ohio, New Hampshire, North Carolina, and South Dakota, with completion expected by September 26, 2027.
