Northrop Grumman secures $149 million in defense contracts

Investing.com -- Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) has been awarded three defense contracts totaling approximately $149 million for various military technology and systems development projects.
The U.S. Department of War awarded Northrop Grumman Systems Corp.'s Linthicum Heights, Maryland facility a $59,978,362 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for research and development. This contract supports the VEYRON effort to develop, fabricate and demonstrate a digital beamforming transceiver Application Specific Integrated Circuit design with integrated supply chain vulnerability mitigation through on-chip Root of Security technology. The work, expected to be completed by June 30, 2028, will be performed in Linthicum Heights. The Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio is managing the contract, with $7 million in fiscal 2025 funds already obligated.
In a separate award, Northrop Grumman's McLean, Virginia division received a $24,937,150 contract for Air and Missile Defense Workstation Block VII Maintenance and Integrated Air and Missile Defense Integrated Battle Command System. This contract has an estimated completion date of June 22, 2028, with work locations and funding to be determined with each order. The Army Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama is overseeing this contract.
Additionally, the company's Oklahoma City operation secured an estimated $64,111,631 delivery order and modification to a four-year subsumable base contract for manufacturing and producing B-2 forward duct assemblies. This hybrid firm-fixed-price, indefinite-quantity contract will be performed in Utah with completion expected by March 31, 2031. The Air Force is the primary user of these components, with fiscal 2026 defense working capital funds allocated for the project. The Defense Logistics Agency Weapons Support at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma is managing this contract.
