Investing.com -- Northrop Grumman Systems Corp. (NYSE: NOC) has been awarded a $50 million modification to an existing contract for the LITENING CATP program by the U.S. Department of War.
The modification increases the total contract value to $1.36 billion from $1.31 billion, according to a Monday announcement.
The work will be performed at the company's Rolling Meadows, Illinois facility and is expected to be completed by December 31, 2025, though delivery orders may extend into calendar year 2029.
The contract modification does not immediately obligate any funding, as funds will be allocated when orders are awarded under the contract. The contract does not include Foreign Military Sales.
Robins Air Force Base in Georgia is serving as the contracting activity for this modification, which was identified as P00033 to the previously awarded contract FA8540-19-D-0001.
