Lockheed Martin secures $56.4 million contract for B-2 countermeasure receivers

Investing.com -- Lockheed Martin's (NYSE: LMT) Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) division in Owego, New York, has been awarded a $56,406,399 contract to provide B-2 countermeasure receivers for the U.S. Air Force.

The firm-fixed-price, fixed-quantity contract was awarded as a sole-source acquisition under justification 10 U.S. Code 3204 (c)(1), according to Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.301-1.

The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, is serving as the contracting activity for the agreement, which has been assigned the identifier SPRTA1-25-C-0009.

The six-year contract contains no option periods and will be funded using fiscal 2025 defense working capital funds. Work under the contract is scheduled to be completed by August 31, 2031.

B-2 countermeasure receivers are critical components for the stealth bomber's defensive systems, helping protect the aircraft from detection and targeting.
