Lockheed Martin Wins $1.9B Contract for C-130J Training Systems

Investing.com - Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) Rotary and Mission Systems has been awarded a $1.9 billion indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for C-130J Maintenance and Training System IV, the U.S. Department of War announced Tuesday.

The contract covers the continuation of production, modernization, sustainment, and support of C-130J Aircrew Training Devices, Maintenance Training Devices, and Maintenance and Aircrew Training System through the Training System Support Center.

Work will be performed across multiple locations including Little Rock Air Force Base in Arkansas, Dyess Air Force Base in Texas, Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point in North Carolina, Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay in Hawaii, Coast Guard Air Station Elizabeth City in North Carolina, Quonset Point Air National Guard in Rhode Island, Keesler Air Force Base in Mississippi, Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in California, Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth in Texas, Ramstein Air Base in Germany, Yokota Air Base in Japan, and Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni in Japan.

The contract is expected to be completed by Feb. 28, 2039. The JMATS IV contract includes one five-year base ordering period and one five-year option period, with an additional three years for the completion of all deliveries.

Fiscal 2026 operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $1,000 for the initial task order are being obligated at the time of award. The Air Force Lifecycle Management Center, Simulators Division, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio, is the contracting activity.
