Investing.com -- Live Nation Entertainment Inc (NYSE: LYV) shares rose 2% in after-hours trading Thursday following a fourth-quarter revenue report that cleared market expectations. The concert giant posted $6.31 billion in quarterly revenue, surpassing the consensus analyst estimate of $6.13 billion.
The company concluded 2025 with $25.2 billion in annual revenue, representing a 9% increase over the previous fiscal year. Operating income saw a substantial leap of 52% to $1.3 billion, driven by record results in the concerts division and expanding international margins.
"In 2025, the bond between artists and their global fan bases reached new heights, fueling another year of double-digit growth," said Michael Rapino, President and CEO. He noted that the company is "positioned for another year of double-digit operating income and AOI growth in 2026."
Fan attendance climbed 5% to 159 million, with international markets exceeding U.S. fan counts for the first time in company history. This global expansion was supported by a $15 billion investment in artists and shows, reinforcing the firm’s dominant position in the live entertainment ecosystem.
Management indicated that over 80% of large-format shows for 2026 are already booked, with North American pacing up double digits. "With a deep pipeline of large-scale shows and ticket demand continuing its ascent, we are positioned for another year of double-digit operating income," Rapino added.
The Ticketmaster segment reported $3.1 billion in revenue for 2025, while the sponsorship division grew 11% to $845 million in adjusted operating income. Looking ahead, the company expects capital expenditures of up to $1.2 billion in 2026 to further expand its global venue portfolio and infrastructure.
