L3Harris secures $57 million in defense contracts for tech systems

Investing.com -- L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX) has secured two defense contracts worth a combined $57.4 million for military technology systems and support services.
The U.S. Department of War awarded L3Harris Interstate Electronics Corp. a $36.8 million cost-plus-fixed-fee modification to provide services and support for flight test instrumentation systems. This modification brings the total contract value to $489.1 million, including all optional line items.
The contract also benefits a Foreign Military Sale to the United Kingdom. Work will be performed across multiple locations, with 56% in Anaheim, California; 30% in Cape Canaveral, Florida; 10% in Washington, D.C.; 2% in Bremerton and Silverdale, Washington; and 2% in Kings Bay, Georgia.
The project is expected to be completed by September 8, 2029. The Department is obligating $1.8 million in fiscal 2025 research, development, test and evaluation funds for this modification.
In a separate award, L3Harris Technologies in Palm Bay, Florida, received a $20.6 million firm-fixed-price contract for spare parts and repair maintenance services for the T7 Multi-Mission Robotic System. This contract was awarded by the Army Contracting Command at Detroit Arsenal, Michigan, with an estimated completion date of September 30, 2028.
The T7 contract was awarded after a competitive bidding process conducted via the internet, which received one bid. Work locations and funding details will be determined with each order under this contract.
