Investing.com -- L3Harris Technologies Inc. (NYSE: LHX) has been awarded a $53,843,771 fixed-price-incentive-fee modification to a previously awarded contract by the U.S. Department of Defense.
The modification is for the procurement of three additional production units for Foreign Military Sales and an alternate 4.6-meter antenna.
This adjustment increases the total contract value to $235,938,547 from $182,094,876.
Work will be performed at Palm Bay, Florida, and is expected to be completed by December 2028.
The contract involves Foreign Military Sales, with $10,545,213 in FMS funds being obligated at the time of award.
The Space Combat Power Directorate, Space Systems Command, at Los Angeles Air Force Base, California, is serving as the contracting activity for this project.
