Investing.com -- L3Harris Technologies Inc. (NYSE: LHX), based in Palm Bay, Florida, has secured a $487,300,685 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract from the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD).
The contract covers the modernization of enterprise terminals, along with depot and engineering services support. The Army Contracting Command at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, is managing the contracting activity under reference W15P7T-25-D-0004.
The DoD solicited bids via the internet and received only one submission. Specific work locations and funding allocations will be determined with each order as the project progresses.
The contract has an estimated completion date of June 21, 2030, giving L3Harris a five-year timeline to complete the modernization work and provide the required support services.
